HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, HONEY!
August 8, 2006 by James Kubecki

In case my wonderful wife reads my blog today (and she BETTER!), let me just say…

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, SWEETIE!

Today is the anniversary of the day that Shannon and I met for the very first time. Someday, I may have to post the long version of the story, but the short of it is that today is the day that God blessed me beyond my dreams. As Shannon is fond of pointing out, “We love, because He first loved us.”

Interesting side note for everyone out there keeping track…

We met on 8/8…
We got married on 9/9…
and we actually celebrated our wedding (that’s a whole other story!) on 11/11

We just need something to commemorate now on 10/10.

Accountability Groups (And Accountability in General)
August 8, 2006 by James Kubecki

Justin Taylor at Between Two Worlds has a very insightful post this morning on Accountability Groups, which is equally applicable to the principle of accountability in general. He cites an article from Jonathan Dodsen in the Journal for Biblical Counseling.

Excellent comments about accountability in Justin’s summary alone. (Haven’t read the full article from Dodsen just yet.)
